It’s been a while since I post my last video, I guess it’s about time to catch up. Dec 25 is around the corner so why not starting with some Christmas ads I’ve been involved in these past years, all produced by Passion Animation Studios .
In 2018 I had the chance to rig a bunch of super cute characters for this touching stop-motion-like commercial created by Passion for austrian financial services provider Erste Group.
It was great fun to creat the animation rig for Henry the Hedgehog’s quills as well as all character’s bodies and faces, but the most interesting thing for me was seeing how relatively simple cg grey-coloured character rigs could eventually look so real and alive with the superb animation, lighting and rendering work done by Passion’s team. Luckily enough, I was going to have still another chance to check this the upcoming year.
