Another collaboration with the Google Spotlight Stories team for this interactive story directed once more by Pixar vets Jan Pinkava and Mark Oftedal. In a new step on their search for interactivity, the animation of the main character Piggy changes depending on where the viewer is looking at.

From the rigging point of view, it was really hard to match the requirements of the project, specially when building the deformation system, not only because of the technical limitations of a real-time rig but also for the super demanding requirement from director Mark Oftedal regarding the character’s shapes and silhouettes they must achieve with the rig. It was great though to be pushed that much, I’m really happy with how the rig turned out!
